The design isn't so advanced, heck, it's a very simple design, but the character behind it isn't so simple, or well, it didn't use to be.

Mosuke was actually requested, so I drew him real quick.. <<; I think he's beautiful. In actuality Mosuke was one of my older characters, Becoming present originally as Oblivios, a simple red eyes black wolf-creature, and later his name was changed to better exemplify his particular traits, named after the Marburg Virus (Which was originally encountered by Dr. Mosuke, whom became infected later with it but was the first of the unknown strand of this virus to survive at the time) And later his specific traits were used as the backbone to the Ippiki species. Not long afterwards I changed his race to Ippiki and made him the 'father' of the species. He is the only full-blooded Ippiki to date that's aloud to survive even with his deformation (Usually mutations such as more or less than five tails in an Ippiki is considered Taboo. This usually results to either amputation or death, depending on how many tails the Ippiki has later on in life.) and is the first successful experament in the pre-alchemy stages. It's rumored that during his creation, the only thing that made him different from the previous failed expiraments was a sterilization breach, and a virus that would have otherwise killed him bonded in an unusual way with the still imune-less pup. Needless to say that they used his blood for a time to make the first line of Ippiki from the very virus, which is most pure and potent within him. It was very fun to concoct, and being he is old Mosuke is a close character to my heart.

His old story, if you want details to the story of Oblivios ask and I'm willing to tell, there's not much to it since I'm still practicing being thourough to this day.

Mosuke 'Juunibi' (twelve tail) Oblivios Ippiki (c) Moi

Interesting background on him. ;D And the entire Ippiki race. I know I say "Adore' too much but there's just something about his story I like. Call me geek or whatever but I love science. And his tale is full of science.
:iconbakahound:
He often is depicted with skulls... >>; And yes, I've worked and reworked his story as well as the Ippiki's history many times, all without so much as touching his fourth grade concieved design. I wouldn't dare call you a geek, I love science too, and math. The two in most ways are relative, and somehow it makes me partially good with science too. ^^ The virus is unique in a way, but relates well to ebola or (originally) rabies at a higher degree. I'm still working on the ref sheet for the Ippikis, though I started it awhile ago, I just want to make sure my details for the time being are accurate to the breed. As you can probably tell by my enthusiasm, I've very much enjoyed listing down what I know of the Ippiki species thus far. I should have the species page finished soon. =3

I was referring to his background story. xD But I like the brown human skulls on the actual background as well. I've noticed with all those Nami, Shingai and other Ippiki pictures. I'm not honestly complaining about it. I love science but not math. You can say that but not all science is math. (For example, sociology and yes sociology is a branch of science) I would like to see their sheet. Would they be available to the public or will you do what you did with the Qi phoenix and limit them to friends only?
:iconbakahound:
>> I think I just like the theme behind that, but keep in mind with the other Ippikis thus far the theme was more towards blood, I usually try to keep far away from the skulls.. Sadly Mosuke's personality and traits demands bones, so- Yup. I know that, though, I didn't mean that all science was math and vise versa, I'm just saying I'd probably be no good at science at all if some of it wasn't relative to math or logic. Like the kinetic theory and all of those good problems that can be solved through math if you know the certain variables. I like incorperating science into all things, if only slightly, to keep them realistic. For instance, the qi phoenix, they're ability to manipulate fire is based off of two things. The usual rules applying to heat via kinetic and chemical and whatnot where the movements of the cells is applied to heat force, and the long ago since discredited Caloric theory, where a scientist who's name I cannot remember came up with the theory that all creatures possessed calora, an invisible substance relatable to a fluid that carries heat, but that didn't explain why when two objects stayed towards one another for a long period of time, why they reached a medium temperature. I just like keeping small scientific guidelines for my creations so I don't end up with a gaudy higher mimetics. As for that, I'm still deciding, I'm not really sure yet...

I've noticed. I never said that. I never said you were referring to sciences that consisted most of math. I just said not all sciences are based from math. There was a little bit of science behind the shinoux race as well. For example, the body adapted over millions of years into a living heater which is sensitive to drastic drops in temperature surrounding the person. That's why their reference sheet is dangerously long, because I like to make creatures feasible enough. Now, this made me want to create a sort of "chemistry" sheet for my species. Speaking of such, I have to work on balloons and kivis.

Simply beautiful! I love how realistic it is! Splendid!
